This custom-built enclosed patio was thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, enriching outdoor experience for both the homeowners and their feline companions. Nicknamed “The Ultimate Cat Patio” by its happy owner, the space blends the comfort of a well-constructed cedar deck with the security of a full enclosure – allowing pets to enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air of the outdoors without risk.
The structure features pressure-treated framing and robust 6×6 posts, anchored with Simpson Strong-Tie brackets for maximum stability. Durable mesh screening wraps the entire space, offering visibility and ventilation while keeping pests out and curious cats safely in. A clear polycarbonate roof shelters the area from rain and debris while letting in ample natural light, ensuring the space feels open and inviting year-round.
From the custom-built gates to the carefully finished trim, every detail of this project was executed with care, function, and longevity in mind. The result is a unique, pet-friendly retreat that adds beauty, value, and peace of mind to the home – an outdoor haven truly worthy of its name.
